Yesterday LTC Michael Hutchinson visited Ms. Carlton’s English classes to talk about his experience serving in Afghanistan as a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces.
After reading the book “Ground Zero,” curious 7th graders were left with questions that only someone who lived in Afghanistan for 15+ years could answer. That’s when Ms. Carlton made the call to LTC Hutchinson.
LTC Hutchinson- Thank you for your service, and for coming in to talk about your experience overseas and answer the many questions our classes had.
