Mrs. Mulholland's 4th grade class has been studying energy in their most recent science unit. Last week, students made ice cream in a bag to demonstrate how energy transfers from one object to another and how the state of matter can change.
Students were able to enjoy their finished product while witnessing energy in action!

Last month, all ninth grade students had the opportunity to attend a field trip focused on college and/or career exploration. Their options included:

A very special thank you to K-12 Counselor Kendall Fritze, Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction Matt Berkshire, and Questar III’s Jim Church for working together to organize these trips and provide such a wonderful opportunity to students. Check out the photos below from their field trips!

Nothing warms the soul on a cold day better than chicken soup from scratch! Students in Food and Nutrition spent the week preparing homemade chicken noodle soup. They started with a whole chicken and learned how to create a flavorful broth. They then transformed the broth into a hearty soup they all enjoyed.

Greenville 7th Grader Cameron Schelling made the front page of the Greenville Pioneer for being the keynote speaker at a ceremony honoring his late uncle.
Airman First Class John Irwin Cameron was killed in the Vietnam War on February 2, 1966. Greene County posthumously honored him with the "Honor a Deceased Veteran Award."
Back in November, Cameron Schelling was interviewed by WMHT for his participation in the CTE program. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he told the reporter he wanted to join the military, to finish the career his Uncle didn't have the opportunity to.
We're proud of you, Cameron!
