attendance cheat sheet

To help families better understand how attendance is recorded in ParentVue, we created a ParentVue Attendance Cheat Sheet. The document outlines where to view daily attendance, as well as attendance by period and course. It also provides a detailed key for the icons used in the app.

The most important thing to remember is the first attendance section in ParentVue displays any attendance activity on a given date. This means an icon can indicate an attendance record for one period OR for the full day. For more detailed information about daily attendance, scroll down to the Days of Attendance section. We hope you find this resource helpful.

If you believe your student's attendance is incorrectly recorded in ParentVue, please email mshsattendance@greenvillecsd.org. For a new ParentVue activation code, please email the Registrar at terrelll@greenvillecsd.org.

Attendance Policy Reminders
Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying the school by 9:00am each day a student is absent. Students are allowed parent-written legal absence notes for personal absences up to 6 days. This includes, but is not limited to parent-written notes for illness, medical appointments, and acts of nature. Official attendance letters are sent when students reach the thresholds of 10, 16, 20, 24, and 30 unexcused absences.
