Over the past few weeks, there has been a significant increase in unsafe driving practices during student drop-off and pick-up times on campus. For the safety of our students, faculty, and staff, as well as the drivers around you, we urge you to follow the rules of the road.
Do not pass other cars. We understand many people are in a rush during transition times, but please do not pass other cars on campus. This creates a huge safety risk with the amount of pedestrians walking on campus.
Do not speed through campus. There are posted speed limit signs throughout campus, as well as speed bumps for a reason. Please slow down! Children are leaving school, employees are walking to their cars. Speeding through campus is dangerous for everyone.
Do not pass school buses. If a school bus has its lights flashing or its stop sign-off, DO NOT PASS. This means students are getting on and off the bus, some may even be crossing the road. Remember, passing a school bus is against the law (even when you're on school grounds).
Follow directions from staff on campus. Staff members are on campus to direct traffic during drop-off and pick-up times. Please follow their directions and be mindful that their job is to keep everyone safe.
