Gifted and Talented Education
The Greenville Central School committee for Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) is focused on increasing opportunities for gifted and talented students in grades K-12. The GATE committee is comprised of parent, teacher, staff and administrative members. Each year the members establish goals, conduct research and complete projects that support the understanding and/or needs of high achieving students. The GATE committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm in room 106 of the elementary building. Meetings are open to the community and additional information is available via monthly reports presented at PTA/PTSA meetings. Questions regarding the Greenville CSD’s Gifted and Talented Education Committee can be emailed to Peter Mahan, Elementary School Principal at MahanP@Greenville.k12.ny.us
