The Importance of Art

Art encompasses all of the disciplines, tying them all together. Working on art projects allows students a chance to focus and explore possibilities, challenging them to creatively problem-solve.

Being able to maintain focus in art class allows students to build the necessary skills to focus and critically think in their other classes as well as in life situations.

While students are creating and having fun, they are bringing the freedom they have in art to creatively explore options to be able to make connections to other classes and vice versa.
